How can football bring fans together beyond the game?

Ahead of F.C. Copenhagen’s home game against S.S.C. Napoli, we developed a brand activation with the fans, the clubs, and the two cities at its core: Bringing the Neapolitan tradition of caffé sospeso to Copenhagen - with 500 free espressos for the visiting fans on behalf of the city and its football fans.

Our work included:

  • Developing the core concept in collaboration with Wonderful Copenhagen, F.C. Copenhagen, and S.S.C. Napoli

  • Production of a short teaser trailer for the activation, featuring footballer Rasmus Højlund and David Diamanti, a local restaurateur and football afficionado.

The teaser trailer received one million organic views, the happening was covered by both local and Italian television and sports media, and five cafés across the city were packed with visiting S.S.C. Napoli fans who loved the gesture (but not necessarily our Nordic take on espresso - oh well).
