How can tourism become an engine for sustainable growth and quality-of-life? To answer this question, Frame & Work launched the Dolomiti Paganella Future Lab, in collaboration Visit Dolomiti Paganella and Trentino School of Management.

Over the span of over 2 years, we worked extensively with a tightly-knit community in the Dolomites in Northern Italy to answer this question and chart a new path towards their future.

The project concluded in the fall of 2021, and spawned a charter of values for sustainable development, as well as a number of specific, crowd-sourced projects aimed at supporting this development towards 2030 and beyond - some of which have already been set in motion.

Frame & Work was responsible for project identity, design, and methodology. To showcase the process, the community, and the issues at hand, we also produced a long-form documentary which premiered at the 2022 Trento Film Festival.
